Dobinson vs Ironman Nitro

Has come down to deciding between these two lifts:

Dobinson 302 front, 325 rear (2.5” all around . Retains a bit of factory rake which I like)

Ironman Nitro stage two. 2.5” up front, 2” in rear. Just bit concerned this will level it out somewhat and if put any camping gear in rear will face negative rake?

Ironman UCA for both (as Dobinson uca not available 3-4 months )

Application: mainly daily driver with occasional dirt roads and grass fields, possibly light overland trip out west this spring. No Rock crawling.

Putting on 285-70r17 tires.

Thank fir Input if have either of these lifts.

Personally I would go Dobinsons, I know many heavy Arizona off-roaders that have been very happy with theirs for years.

I think Dobinsons is kind of the median where the diminishing returns start as you venture into the high end market.

I have had the Dobinsons long travel rear and extended travel front on now for a year and I am in love with this suspension. I am glad I went Dobinsons over the other brands. Dobinsons have been around for years in the EU but recently made their way into our market. I can also recommend Exitoffroad.com for purchasing they specialize in Dobinsons. In fact the owner moved here from Australia to sell Dobinsons. As far as UCAs go I went with JBA Offroad UCAs and have been very happy with their performance and making the alignment very easy with lots of room for adjustment. As far as using my vehicle as a daily driver, overlander, and I go wheeling with it several times a year. Overall performance and rideability is fantastic.

I have the Ironman 4x4 Nitro same kit you are looking at. Don't do it. The front springs are stupid stiff, 775 lbs springs. I had to swap them out for some OME 888X springs which are 590 lbs and give the same lift. The ride was way too firm and limited me offroad in some situations like faster speeds on rough roads. It' will be fine if plan to add a bunch of weight to the front and top of your 4runner but if you plan to keep the added weight low go with a different setup. I highly recommend RSO suspension and would have went with that if I knew of them sooner. High quality at a lower cost than comparable suspensions like Icon and Fox.
