Looks better then the ARB, it doesn't stick out as much as the ARB.

A.) The cutting is surprisingly simple and the template makes it dummy proof (I have an ARB but it looks identical). If you don't have the right tools, get a cheap Harbor Freight "dremmil" with small metal discs and a step drill bit.
B.) You don't have to drill into the A-pillar like this or the ARB might lead you to believe. It's added protection, sure, but I think the main reason is to avoid vibration on the highway. I and a few others used black two-sided tape (doubled-up) to keep it snug against the pillar. That also makes the reversal process a lot easier... now you're just replacing the fender if you decide to go back.
C.) Hell of a good price... $300?! I would have went this route simply to not have the "SAFARI" logo embossed all over my current snorkel.
D.) Install is easy but the trickiest part was connecting the rubber between the airbox and the snorkel itself. Not impossible, just 3 minutes of pure frustration.

LOL, they've had it done for 2+ years, but one guy that calls the shots said it was ugly, so they didn't put it into production. Then they proceeded to make ugly models for other vehicles anyway...

The biggest thing holding me back on getting a snorkel is cutting a huge hole in the fender. I'm not planning on ever reverting my vehicle back to stock, but doing something so irreversible is making it hard to bite the bullet. You say you can replace the fender, but how extensive of a job is that? I found one here at a reasonable price, but does replacing the fender require cutting off the old and then welding the new one on?

Do it!!! Why would anyone sell their rig anyway? Even if you do sell, there will be buyers who want the snorkel. Buying and painting a new fender is not a big deal at all.

Bolts on, just like the hood, grille, bumper, etc. It's considered a crash part. But yeah, once you put it on, pretty much no one will ever take it off.

FWIW, ARB doesn't manufacture the snorkel, they distribute the SAFARI brand. So I've been told...
