does anyone else have this cluster?

Mine is a Surf, was wondering if the Sport or Limiteds have the same. Its smoked out when the ignition is off, comes on with ign on, and auto dims depending on outside brightness.

the us models dont have that cluster unforunatly. ive always wanted that one but it isnt plug and play into a US 4runner AKA Surf. where are you located? looks like you have a real hilux surf. mind helping me get the fender mirror?

Am doing expat work in Nairobi, Kenya right now, wouldnt mind looking into a fender mirror for you but note that cars here are right hand drive, so the fender mirror would only work if you installed it on the driver side on your rig. Its supposed to go on the passenger side. However, there are quite a bit of left hand drive surfs as well, I'll see if the stealership can get one and get back to you.

Saw one of these come up for sale on Ebay but like SIKHILUXSURF says it is not plug n play with US Runner's.Found out it would take alot of work making the connections correct and didn't really seem worth all of the time and effort.
Very cool looking though and very similar to the 'Optitron' type of cluster lighting you find in Lexus,my old Honda Prelude also had this cluster lighting.

Ok it looks like it's electroluminescent. A lot of the newer vehicles are going with this type of lighting. We got stuck with the same technology that Thomas Edison was rockin'
