Does anyone from the northwest actually use this?

Its bone stock. Want to do a few upgrades first, dont really want to beat on it to bad. Not yet anyway.

Darkie alot of the Capitol forest areas have been closed off. I used to wheel alot around rock candy power line trails but that is for motocross only now.

I heard that too. I think Waddle creek gravel pit is nearby is still open right?

I'd be up for something easy. I just picked up my 2012 TE. I had it out the coast on a few sand dunes the other day. I don't even have my plates yet, so nothing to serious!

Cool, did you run stock tires on the dunes, or have you already updated your tires?

Greenwater has some good light trails and view of Mt Rainier. If you do get a sudden urge though, you can also access the Naches trail for some off-camber stuff, hill climbs and NW pin-striping!

I have stock tires on. I didn't really have any problems. I could definitely tell their was some spinning going on, but had no issues at all.

What is interesting is that the Toyota website says the Trail Edition comes with mud and snow tires. Now, the dueler ht/t which came as stock appear to be all weather tires, but they don't have the M+S on the side wall......

Hey! According to the Toyota site (4Runner -> Features & Specs -> Specs -> Tires), looks like Mud&Snow is supposed to be Standard across all trims (SR5/Trail/Ltd).

But no, seems like the Dueler H/Ts are standard across all the new rigs at the local dealers. Supposedly they're meant to provide a smoother experience while test driving.

A friend asked me, "So, does 'H/T' mean 'horrible tire?'"

Horrible Tire, that's classic. I wonder if I could complain and get mud and snow tires put on. Somehow I doubt it, but you never know.

Anyone going to this? I have a fourth gen 4runner with 4inches of lift and 295's. I'm wanting to go. I'm not sure about running with stock fj's. :/ any 4runners going to be there? Oh I'm located in Tualatin. -Brandon
