Moved from SoCal (another California transplant) to Salem. Looking for easy scenic to mild trails to run and really want to get out to Sandlake with another 4x in case I bury it.

Welcome all to PNW as for trails just google the area's and look for Forresty roads and logging roads as for Issaquah/ Sammamish area Tiger mountain has tons of trails.

Everyone should check out the trails.com website. They have 'Off Highway Vehicle' drives that were taken from the 'Scenic Washington ByWays' book. So far I've hit Quartz Mountain, Oak Creek, and a few logging roads off of I90. As for anyone looking to start meeting up, I usually work 7 days a week but these last two weekends I've had off. I would love to go exploring and hit some trails if anyone's down. I'm located in Sammamish!

Have any of you been to the Pacific Northwest Four Wheel Drive Association's Winter Convention in Bend? I'm curious about the format. Wondering if it is worth checking out. They claim info on secret trails. Low down on Naches and Tillamook along with Idaho’s gateway to the Rocky’s trail + intel on Oregon’s prime year round easy to extreme OHV secrets.
