Does anyone tow a 7x14?

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you guys tow a 7x12 or 7x14 enclosd vnose cargo trailer with your t4r and how you like it. I'm looking at getting a new trailer and a 6x12 really isn't wide enough, I would really prefer the extra width to work out of.

I know the wind resistance will be the biggest obstacle, I won't really have the trailer loaded down with weight or anything, probably 2k of cargo at most and the trailer I weighs just over 2,200 empty. So total weight would be around 4500lbs fully loaded.

Your experience? Thanks!

Not exactly the same, but I tow a 13 foot travel trailer. Almost 7 foot wide, and much taller than what you would have as a cargo. My trailer is really light though, probably close to your empty weight.

In my 05 with the V8, it pulls and stops like a dream. Really, if you didn't look at the gas gauge you would never know it was there. Highway gas mileage drops from about 17.5 to 12.5. And yes, you're right it is the wind resistance, so I'm not sure if the extra weight would impact it much more when your trailer is full.

Great thanks! Im really not worried about gas mileage, it is what it is lol. I also can't do 55mph so I keep up with traffic which really hurts the gas mileage but I would rather pay more for fuel and keep my sanity lol. Ive been very impressed with how this v6 tows, 20-24ft boats, car haulers around 6K and she does great.

Im trying to find a local trailer place that will let me do a "test pull" to see how she does but thats hard to find.
