I can hear my breaks squeel while I am driving, NOT BREAKING OR COMING TO A STOP. If I tap on them it goes away sometimes and then comes back. I plan on changing my pads. Has anyone else had this happen.
Mine squeak a little when I am coming to a stop, but not like you are explaining it. It never does it until I am going very slow and apply the brakes. Mine is most likely due to junk I have accumulated while offroading.
I had this happen to me shortly after i bought a certified used '03. I was told that that the break pad retaining clip was not installed properly when they put on new pads and it was making contact with the rotor.
