Ok, this is really going to make me look old. But when I started driving in the '70's, I knew a guy who bought a 'turbo-charger' for his fuel line. All it did was swirl the fuel through a strainer. Claimed it added 50 HP and got 15% better mileage. I see things haven't changed. I do love these 'products' though. They crack me up everytime.
I think I'm going to use an oil additive, a magnet on the fuel line, a weather vane in the intake, a fuel conditioner and then my v8 4runner should get 50 mpg with all these devices working together.
On a serious not I'm running my 265/70/16's at 36 psi instead of the 32 that was recommended. That might do more for my mileage on the highway than all those devices put together.
I checked the tire pressures on a friends Exploder and he had two tires under 20 psi and none over 25. No wonder they tip over.

A reply to my own post....
This tire check was done a day after the Exploder was serviced at the Ford dealer.
How soon we forget.
Is there any service on an SUV that includes checking/setting the tire pressures. This was a less than two year old Exploder having a service, at the dealer, that cost over $500.00.
My guess is that one would have to step up to the deluxe service to get the tires checked. Afterall someone else makes the tires.
Oh, by the way, the spare was flat. So I guess it was avery spare spare.
