Dome Light

I'm sure I'm bugging the hell out of this forum, but I'm wondering about this problem.

My dome light comes on when switched to the on position, but it cannot see any voltage in the door position, meaning that it isn't getting the power from the closed "door open" circuit. The lights on the doors come on fine, but the dome light refuses to. Is there anything to be done about this or has anyone else seen this problem?

My dome light does not work and I don't want to fix it. I work alone in the bush and when I get back to the truck I don't need a dead battery cause I left the light on

I would check the switch, try removing the light and jumping the terminals with the door open... Fail that, check the wiring...
