Long story short DONT Buy HPS Products!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & be sure to tell your friends, relatives, neighbors, etc...

I called HPS to be 100% sure there kit would work with my 89 & they assured me it would. (all but the rear heat part, which they are suposidly making in the next 3 months. & was told I can just buy the extra hoses when they have them made.)
So, been waiting & waiting to get the hose kit I ordered. (didnt buy it from them directly since they said I couldnt.)
Anyway, flash forward. Finally get the kit today. I go out to the grage & start comparing the hoses to my stock ones since there is no instructions at all. & guess what, only part of the kit will fit still leaving me even more short on the hoses I need. (my rig has over 333,000 miles & all the hoses are hard!)
(Even if I didnt have rear heat the top hose in this pic wouldnt work, because its the wrong shape)
So I call tec support to ask them what the deal is...... I explain what Y/M/M vehicle & what kit I bought. then say "there is no way .23" (1/4) hose will fit on my .55" (1/2 & 3/4) heater hose barbs." All I get is him laughing & saying "just use what you can. thanks for calling" & then hangs up
Frusterated, I call back so I can talk to someone different. I then ask if I figure out the length of the L bent hoses I need, can buy them individualy? He sais "no, just full kits." So i say "then I wasted $200 for an incomplete kit that has 3 hoses that arnt even for my vehicle, 2 that are too short & I cant buy the correct ones either?" He responds "nope" Then I explain that I had called a few weeks back & was told that I could buy the extra hoses for the rear heat. he sais "No, there are no plans to make them & even if they did, I would not be able to buy them. just a whole kit." So I say "guess I got screwed then." he just laughs & sais "if you have any other questions, call back. bye." & hangs up.
WTF! I buy $300 worth of there crap & get treated like $#i+. With customer like that, these F***'$ need to be put out of business! Yah, Im pissed!
~~~ If it would have fit, his kit was cheaper than buying every single line from Toyota individualy & paying shipping on all of them..... & 10,000,000 times easier than taking in every single hose to the local auto parts store & trying to match them up my self!
Now I have to try to return this crap & use 1 of the 2 options I mentioned above. looks like its going to be several more weeks till I get to drive my rig for the first time.
