2003 Toyotal 4-Runner SR5. I'm not sure if they are related but here is the sequence of events. I need some help trying to sort this out. I'm hoping there is a fuse or something easy to fix these.
1.) A couple of months ago the cargo door lock mechanism would open when you pulled the door open like it's supposed to. When you tried to close it, it stayed in the closed position and I had to manually open the locking mechanism wide enough to shut the cargo door, it would "seal itself" closed and then off I went. No big deal.
2.) I get the car back from being painted and realized that it now appears to be closing without me moving the metal latch open manually. Fixed...nah, new problem. Now the "door is ajar" light is on all the time even when all doors (including the rear cargo door is shut) and the overhead light is on all the time when set to "Door". I notice when the rear cargo door closes initially the light goes off and then it "backs-off" on the sealing of the cargo door and the door ajar light goes on like it's not closed but it is. See video of the door closing and then slightly loosening up upon sealing the door a few seconds later.
3.) The rear cargo door window control in the dashboard is non-functional. No up or down.
Are these problems related or are they two problems and I'm just unlucky?
