Door locks not working correctly

I have a 98 Limited with factory alarm. The securikey doesn't work anymore but my issue right now is with the door locks. The truck used to lock the doors when you put it in drive to leave and when you stopped and put in park it would unlock. Not anymore. Just stays locked. Now when u use the securikey as a normal key to unlock the doors all doors will unlock but half the time the driver's side door doesn't unlock all of the way. The driver's side will also not unlock all the way when you use the switch from the passenger's door sometimes. Any ideas?

Your Rxxx factory alarm is malfunctioning.
As an installer, I would not recommend keeping the factory alarm.

An aftermarket one is always better.

I had a similar problem with mine when I first bought it about 4 months ago. It had an aftermarket alarm, but the actuator in the door was going bad. I bought one from Toyota and it was easy to replace. I had similar experiences on other Toyota products I have owned.
