Door removal and quick reattach bolts

Last question of the night. I have been kicking around the idea of coming up with a quick reattach door method. I have been thinking of a unique pin ( I don't think a cotter pin would allow the door to close) for the three mounts and then a foam set to fit the rear cargo area with door cutouts would be the ticket. I could just watch the weather but I commute over an hour and the weather there is a lot crazier than where I live. I have a hard enough time getting the soft top buttoned in a hurry when it starts raining. Before I design something to do this I thought I would ask if someone on here had already done this or not. I almost think a correct size pin with a slightly larger head that was just held in by gravity might work just fine.

Never mind I just found 4x innovations kit. Kind of steep if I only need a few new pins but by the time I set up the tooling to make a set I could probably have bought a few sets. It is not my shop so I usually try and pay for shop time.

Go to Home Depot and get yourself a set of 5/16 pins from the drawers. I used the kind with the clip. Cut and punch out the stock pins in the hinges and drop the 5/16 pin in. Works great. We did this to 4 yotas now

I grabbed..

4 of 5/16 x 2.1/4 clevis pins
4 of R clips (Hair pins clips)

Easy enough to do, unscrew door from hinges, cut pin in half, separate with flat head screwdriver then pull out, Clean up and slip the new pins in, works a treat.
