Door Seals - What are the options?

IF anyone here has had their drivers side weather seal tear from your feet rubbing on it as you hop into your rig over the years I have one I'll sell...

HERE is an example of the torn worn out seal. The one I have is NOT torn...

If this hasnt sold. Id be interested. Mines been ripped for a while but never thought of replacing it until now haha. If you still have it i can buy it at the next mod day

This is my exact issue. Driver's side only.
How do you pull it out and replace it w/o screwing up everything holy?
it can't be as simple as just peel it off right?

The removal and replacement is as simple as it sounds, not sure if there is a video. I did pop off the seatbelt trim on the B pillar, as will as the trim along the floor and along the A pillar. Will make it much easier to remove the old seal and put in the new seal. Keep an eye on the few marks on the new seal and they should still be visible on the old as you will want to get the new seal marks in the same spot. There are also a few holes in the seals that you will want in the same spot. Once you have these figured out, pull the old seal and replace it with the new one making sure you have the holes and paint marks back in the same place they were with the old seal.

weird, I was looking at this topic today. I think I need this on my passenger door. I thought my sunroof drain was leaking, but I cleared it and am still struggling with the source of the water.

OEM new would be best, but used from a local pick-a-part would work and be very cheap

totally agree, I use OEM everywhere. Just seems like a piece of rubber though haha

i went to junkyard and pulled a good weather strip of another 4runner. Better shape then mine and its oem

^^^ this is what I did... need to go back and reinstall with some door seal goop
