So I believe I have the typical problem that the plastic clips in the lever release/ locking mechanism inside the door broke, which I have read and appears to be an easy enough fix, if you can get your door open and your panel off.
Initially my door only worked from the inside for the last two days, this morning im driving home and I roll my window down and my door opens up while I am driving. The door gets closed and now it won't open with either handle, power solenoid sounds like it is working. But I can not get the door open from either side, I am trying to get the door panel off from the interior but no luck. Can't get the clips to pop with such little leverage.
96 4runner power locks drivers door is the effected door, no remote entry or any of that fancy stuff.
