do you like wheeling or tracking more? any pics of the Integra

I enjoy track days a lot. But I have enjoyed driving the 4Runner on a regular basis. Nothing can replace the enjoyment of a track day and the experience of racing around on famous tracks with your friends. Has about the same risk factor as off roading. You can easily total out a car on the track just like a rig off road.

It's a different experience though. I did some instructing which I really enjoyed helping people progress with their skill and car control.

My ITR was always stored in the garage. Too afraid of theft here in the Atlanta area to enjoy it on a daily basis. That car on the track was unreal though! So much fun and such an amazing car.

The main reason for this build was to be able to enjoy something with my wife and explore and see new things. We have had some great times in this vehicle but recently my wife has not been able to join me on off road trips due to a neck injury from a rear collision in her Tacoma over a year ago. Some idiot texting and driving hit her and has caused a lot of pain in her neck along with two herniated disc. We are still dealing with this and she has gotten to the point where she cannot ride off road for more than a couple of hours at best. The jolting back and forth is unbearable for her. This has limited the time and enjoyment we have and I end up not driving it and not going on trips.

So long story short.... I've decided to move on from off roading.

What a sweet build man, always a shame to part em out but if the front bumper needs a home I'm interested..

I know what you mean about hitting the track, next year I'm planning to build another Rx7 FD3. Selling mine was a huge regret and now they have sky rocketed in value typically!

Dude, I know! ITR's are crazy priced also. When I sold mine people thought I was crazy. Now an original low mileage ITR starts at $30k ha.

I've always been a fan of the RX-7. Great cars.

Thanks! My ITR was a gem. I even had the JDM trans with the 4.9 final. It was amazing. I even went as far as importing a JDM Integra rear hatch with glass since it did not have the rear wiper hole. I then removed the JDM glass to have installed on the original USDM hatch so i could keep the VIN#'s matching yet have the JDM Glass with no hole. I loved that car.

UPDATE:

I've sold the front bumper setup, the snorkel, TRD PRO skid, the dobinsons lift, and RSG Sliders.

Funny thing is, I've started to enjoy driving this thing again now that it's normal. So of course I went and bought 285 Nitto RGS to mount onto the F5's, kept the gears in there, picked up another miint TRD PRO skid plate (without the ugly red lettering), and order another lift kit. Going to keep it under 2" of lift, with 285s, 17x9 F5's, Gobi rack, and I ordered another set of RSG sliders. Oh... and a TRD PRO grille and valences. Guess I'll be staying around a bit longer....

I hate selling car parts. I have about 2 dozen messages "is this still available?" and I respond with "yes" and they never say antyhing else. It's like people these days have nothing to do other than message people about things they have no desire to buy.

On the other hand, I found out there are actually people that do browse the FB marketplace looking to just troll people. Seriously. These people have nothing else to do other than sit around and message random people dumb stuff. I have a few really funny converstaions I saved becuase sometimes I just can't let things go...

That all being said, It's easier to keep this thing mildly upgraded/PRO replica than to continue to part this out. So i'll be on here a bit longer enjoying this awesome forum and rig.

ok, one last thing. Off-road bumpers are cool and all but who agrees with me, there is just something about the '14-'19 front bumpers. I'm excited about the PRO stuff also.

Installed the new skid plate and tires over the weekend.

I'm glad you are keeping the 4runner a little bit longer.

I own a heavily modded 350z, and while I LOVE that thing, I wouldn't want to drive it every day. It's fun and terrifying at the same time...lol.

I did not. The company I work for owns Bilstein so I got a great deal on a set of 5100's and I ordered new Wheelers T1 and T13 coils. I ran this setup in the old picture I posted. Great setup for now. I also ordered a set of 6112 and 5160's but they are on back order until Mid December. Couldn't pass up the great deal I got. So I'll compare that setup to the 5100's and keep what I like best. Wish Bilstein would hurry up with their 8112 setup for the 5th gen 4Runner.

Curious how'd you plug the hole from the snorkel? Did you have to buy a new right front fender?

When I sold the fender the stipulation was it had to be to someone with an MGM 4Runner. I sold my snorkel and fender complete for their oem fender. So I got a new fender and some cash in my pocket. They got a snorkel and didnt have to do the install.

Installed another 5100 and Wheelers T1 & T13 kit. I was really happy with this setup last year. The T13 rear spring always disappoints on lift height. I slapped in an OME rear 10mm spacer on each side to give it a nice rake.

T1 & T13 on 285s gave me 39" from fender to the floor front to back.

Still waiting on my PRO grill and valences to show up.

RSG Sliders will be here Wednesday.

I also decided to keep the 4.56 gears in there with the 285s. Should be great off-road!

I ended up getting the same ones. The flat, no kick out. I looked at a bunch and that was really my favorite.

I think its a toss up with the ride feel. Once the new setup settles and gets some miles on it I think it'll be a softer ride that sits a little lower than the Dobinsons kit. If I wanted to stay at a 3" lift without the bumper, I'd have kept the dobinsons lift.

Got my Pro grill, valences, and new pro skid plate installed this week. No red lettering on the skid plate. I was able to find a used one in perfect condition to replace my beat pro skid plate.
