Bought the rubbermaid yesterday, and spoiled myself (and the 4R) with new allweather mats and the vertical cargo net from the stealer.
The rubbermaid box is the best tip I have picked up in a long time, what a thrill for $15! No more items rolling around, scratching the plastics, falling on your feet when you open the tailgate......
I now have the following perfectly tucked away out of sight : Powersource/air compressor, camera, tripod, tow roap, jumper cables, puncture repair, lifejacket and skirt (for kayak) and plenty space for more stuff!!

Allweather mats

Here is a pic of the mats.
I didnt feel like spending another $100 on the extreme cargo mat, so have recycled the mats previously used in front for the back.
I notice alot of people have the carpeted cargo mat with the 4Runner emblem, mine never came with this, any reason why not? I bought in June 05 if that makes any difference.

Floor mats, cargo mat, and wheel locks are the most common port-installed options (PIO). Not all vehicles come with them. Nonetheless, I was still surprised when my 4Runner didn't come with them. I haggled with the dealer over the price of the truck, and when he wouldn't come down any more I made him throw in the mats and the locks in order to get me to come up to his price. It worked.

The Rubbermaid bin is a terrific idea. I just
bought one and it fits perfectly without the lid. I'll use it for Costco shopping and just fill it with items that fit, then carry the bin and contents inside. And then I won't have so many empty boxes from Costco to crush and dispose of.

Very nice...I did this a year or so ago and didnt think of posting it (ducks for all the stuff being thrown at me right now)... For a while, I also used one of the under-bed storage bins that had a half/split opening lid, meaning I could slide it back from under the cargo shelf about a foot or two and hinge open the top (top had a hinged "bend" split about 60/40)

Then later on I switched to one like you have because the one I was using stuck out from under the shelf and I liked having that extra back area from having the bin entirely under the cargo shelf. Very useful I didnt know others would have found it so interesting.
