Anyone figure out what to do with a Double Din in a 2005 4runner..? Looks like the only real difference is the 8" width.

I can't find anything out there.

yes, if you have a double din opening, those brackets allow you
to install 2 single din units together in the opening

Any idea how hard is it to install the backup camera? How would the wires go outside?

I just talked with a car toys rep. He said the avn 5435 could not use the stock steering wheel controls. I would have to use the infared. This really sucks. I am so pissed. I am going to keep calling around though. Because, that is not the answer I wanted.

over on tundrasolutions.com a memeber (JOEY) has installed the 5435 on his toyota truck and he said it is plug and play and steering wheel controls remain intact....take a look over at that website to see comments on plug and play....they are also running a group buy for WAY LESS than the prices I see quoted here! Hurry as the group buy ends this Friday APril 22nd
