Double Vision

When I came home today, I saw a twin parked in front of my house. Having the obsession for 4Runner's that I do, I parked in front of it and ran in for the digital camera. I wanted to see who drove this truck but I had to run out. When I came back, it was gone. Anyway, it was a great treat to see it there. Here are the pictures.

double your pleasure

Same thing happened to me this weekend. My neighbor, two doors down, had visitors this weekend.

They drove an '03 black sport (grey cladding) just like mine. I found myself walking around and round their rig like it was different than mine.

The more I own it, the more I really like the Sport with grey cladding. It really stands out and makes an aggressive statement.

I have thought at times about replacing the grey to an all monotone color. But then I realize I have a 4Runner edition that was only made for something like 6 mos. The more I look at the grey cladding, the more I like it.

I also notice that montone 4th generation drivers always bending their head to get a look whenever we cross paths.

BTW...who gets to mow than football field of a lawn?

I think the longer I have the truck, the more I like the cladding. I think it is because you don't see a lot of sports with the cladding. Even though mine is silver, there are not many like it.

I was watching to make sure none of my neighbors were watching me. I kept circling around both 4Runners just staring. There are a few silver Limited's in my development, but none with the cladding. It is a treat to have one in front of the house.

Oh, and there is a gardner that mows the lawn. I sometimes have some good football games on the lawn with my neighbors.
