I just purchased a 92 SR5, only 150000 miles, that had helper springs installed on the rear. The springs raised the rear about 4+ inches. This solved the drooping rearend that the previous owner did not like, but the U-Joints on the front end of the rear driveshaft went out. While repairing everything, I noticed that the angle of the driveline was a bit steep. Maybe had something to do with the driveline angle. When, at what angle does the transmission need adjusted to function correctly and not wear out u-Joints? Any suggestions on a fix?

There's a cheap diff drop for the front diff that'll help some for 3rd gens. I don't know if it would apply to the 2nd gen or not. I know it'll fit a 4th gen even though the 4th doesn't need it so much...
