Driveline issue

Hello all. I have what might be a nitpicky drive train issue or an easy maintenance fix on my 2013 runner, just not sure what it is.

If I'm crusing at any speed, let off the throttle and let the rpm's lower to idle and then press the throttle normally again it feels like the clutch is engaging slightly harsh... kinda feels like a slight thud. My buddys 2013 does not do this, his will engage smoothly like every other auto ive driven.

Torque converter, clutch issue, drive shaft in need of lube?

Help me figure it out. Thx!

The A750F transmission is known for not being silky smooth, but it has a pretty good history.

From what I know (not a lot), some slack in the driveline can occur from time to time.

To me, this description *sounds * normal, but check the grease and maybe get the fluid level checked. Only problem is that is a long process and dealers don't always like to do it.

Thx for the response! Seems like you're right, just got back from st pete and noticed that my buddys runner does the same thing... i felt it happen a few times so maybe i just need to grease the drive shaft to minimize.

What you are describing sounds like the torque converter lock-up engaging/disengaging. Normal. And yes, the A750 isn't the smoothest out there...
