Driver Vanity Mirror

I did my search, and nothing came up...

I just bought a 99 T4R and i noticed that the driver visor has no mirror! Yes, I have to check out myself while i'm driving. Did any newer 3rd gen's ever get the mirror on the driver visor?

If not, i guess i'll have to order the jdm passenger visor.....

and no, i'm not gonna tape a mirror on my visor!

Mine has a mirror. I use it sometimes to check if I have stuff stuck in my teeth, as the rear view mirror is a bit awkward.

No need for tape. they make a mirror that's designed to clip onto your visor.
I would be very surprised if they didn't have them at an auto parts store.

Yup, has a light on the side.

Limiteds have a driver side visor mirror if I recall correctly. So just find a Limited part out.

I believe it is also lighted but that's probably not necessary to wire up.

my '99 limited doesn't have one.. I always wondered it but never really payed much attention. I don't have to check myself out though, I know I look good

okay so based on ARKRWLR's 99 Limited- it is my guess that it is the 01-02 Limiteds have the drivers side lighted visor vanity mirror.

My friend has one in her 01 Limited.

ToyoDIY is giving these OE part numbers for LH visors assemblies. Also showing as available on SR5 models. Limiteds only have the oak color.

Neither my 99 ltd or my friends 97 sr5 have a drivers vanity.


Is it just me or did anyone else picture some Jersey shore style D-bag trying to check their hair in a 4runner mirror when they read this.

I bought visors from a '02 Limited and put them in my '00. Both visors have lighted mirrors and side extensions. Also the driver visor has Homelink. I got a length of wire with the plug from the passenger side of a wrecked 3rd gen (From one of Deathcougar's part outs) as the connector is the same on the passenger and driver side. I then wired up the driver visor to a switched power source so the Homelink only works if the ignition is turned.
