Drivers seat

Anyone out there ever try relocating there drivers seat about two inches back? I am 6'2" tall and on longer drives it starts to get a little uncomfortable. I have a manual seat in it. Any ideas would help. Thanks

No I have not tried this in a 4runner but my buddy did it in his drag talon. He is about 6'4" and was so tall he would have to pop the moon roof to let his head fit to be fully comfortable. He also moved his seat brackets back about 4"s I believe. Not exactly remembering how he did it but I think he just used some brackets made for aftermarket seats and moved them back with new holes he drilled but not sure if they make universal seat mounting brackets for out seats. maybe drill new holes in floor board and move them back. About all I can think of is yanking the factory brackets and welding on a longer rail to mount the slide further back. I had to make a crude bracket from scratch on my old scout since parts are almost impossible to come by.
