Drivers side key lock stuck

Usually use my keyless fob to lock + unlock but went to push my hard key in the door lock on the drivers side and I couldn't twist it. It enters but does not turn over either left or right to lock or unlock. Note that the door does lock when the keyless fob or interior lock button is pressed so the locking mechanism is working. I believe the core is stuck/frozen.

Is my best option a squirt of WD40? Any other issues folks are having and appropriate solutions?

Had the same thing, same reason. Used pb blaster silicone spray then worked it a bit.spray more, work it....

I currently have the same issue with my lock on the rear hatch. I've tried WD-40 and it didn't really work. Let me know if this works for you, or if you figure out another way without entirely replacing the core

WD-40 is a penetrating oil; it doesn't lubricate things. Try one of the aforementioned products and work it a bit. It might take a few applications.
