Any particular grease for the driveshaft? I'm doing this for my daughter's car and the manual is not here.

No 2 grease.

nlgi no.2 lithium grease

Grease canisters will have No.2 on them showing it's in that specific lube class.

Don't go ape s*** on the slip joints =) Some say removing the zerk fitting and driving it over some bumps can help properly lube the shaft and release unwanted pressure. Reinstall zerk fitting and be done.

Read the tutorial and documentation reference sticky, it has a link to one of my posts that has more info about drive shaft grease than you will ever want to know.

Do what? Grease the driveshaft?

Still needs to be done.

ever been under a 2WD? There are no zerks (unless you have replaced the u-joints and bought ones with them) and no slip joint. I have 2 new grease guns with new grease in them... and nothing to use them on

Haha!

Sorry. I haven't been under a 2wd before. I figured you can only assume it's the same after the transfer case.

I've only owned 4x4 vehicles.
