DRL/High Beam Bulb Opinions?

Hello,

I'm wanting to swap out the OEM bulbs in the high beams and still be able to use the DRLs. LEDs will not work since they are either 0 or 100% brightness.

I've seen some Philips "xenon/halogen" bulbs that say they are 5000-6000k color temp. I'm not too picky about light output since I plan on getting HIDs for the low beams. I just want something to match the ~5000k color of the HIDs and still be functional as DRLs.

not true about LEDs being either 0 or 100--i have the saber 50w and the DRL setting, while bright (+ a bit of flicker--not as bad as the 36w), is no where near as bright as the high beam setting

I did not know they were coming out with new ones. Thank you for the info! The HIDs I'm going to order are going to come from XD as well.
