I had no luck in the audio forum so I thought I would try here. Here is my post from that forum...

Anybody had a headliner mounted DVD installed in a 2004 SE with the sunroof? I have met with many installers and they all said it is possible, but I value all your opinions more. Also, do you know if a unit that includes the player in the same mount weighs too much for the headliner?

I am looking to install a 9.5 inch widescreen Panasonic. Anybody have any comments or experience with this or any other brand. Give me your thoughts. Thanks!

I have a toyota model one that came installed at the port on my limited and I like it. It has no problems with weight, but if someone in the back seat wants to move from side to side, they invariably hit their head. Just about everytime my wife goes to grab anything out of the back seat she hits her head too. This equals out to about 3 hits per weak...I hope she doesn't get brain damage from this. Otherwise, no complaints.

Should be fine, my aunt just got on installed on her RX330.

As far as hitting heads go, my friends always hit their heads on the rear seat overhead light when sliding across the seat. The rear seat audio system makes the light so damn big and the ceiling is already kinda low to begin with.
