Drove in nasty weather today

I had to make an hour and a half drive in a major snow storm with all the other idiots on the road and an hour and a half back . I had to do teaching for some Deputy's at the Sheriff's training academy so I could not put it off.

I must say this truck just impressed the crap out of me , cars and trucks spinning out all over the freeway , the 4R never broke a sweat or even kicked on the VSC. Diff. was unlocked the entire time. I left there and literally had to drive through approx. 18" of snow to get out of the parking lot it was drifted so much , walked right on passed all the big truck guys and off I went .

I must admit though it was a little white knuckle driving on the freeway as some idiots we just flying along .

I'm also driving on a set of Revos that have about 42k on them.

Tonight comes the 4wheeling fun after I'm done plowing.....yippee !!!!

yes , I know ..... I was out last night messin around on the roads/empty lots and a few trails , I was afraid I would get stuck , 14" of snow resulted in a lot of belly braggin.

I know the lift would not help my rear pumpkin/axle clearance , but would be nice clearance up front and on the belly. I cant wait until all is dry and look at all the scrapes under there .

My only concern with the lift is warranty issues and because I drive so much. Went through 2 tanks of gas already this last week. ( busy week ) .

I do love the 2/1 look though ..... it's perfect !! we'll see what happens , will have to wait until spring/summer anyway. Then I will either install my 1" level kit that I already have and some FJ rims or bite the bullet and go up .

Right now I'm thinking the 1" kit , some different offset FJ rims , and some BF's . we'll see though. I also pull trailers quite a bit too , so thats a concern.

I hear you Falls, I'm on the north shore about a 1/2 mile off the lake, I watched the horizontal snow all day. I did go out for a little while in the evening after all the traffic had died down to play with the 4Runner in all the Spring snow.

I was out until about midnight , it was fricken bad driving.

I take it by thee "Roadking" you have an HD ?
