You don't need a spring compressor for the rear, you can push down on the axle enough to flex it to pull the spring out, install the spacer and slip it back in.

Nevermind, I see why no pics were installed of the rear "cups" look like after they are installed.

I got her done with the help of my Pop and brother in law, we took shifts at turnin wrenches and compressing springs.


Honestly the rear was much more difficult than the front.The springs and the angles after renting the compressors from Autozone (which was free BTW) was WAY more time consuming than the front. It was an 8 hour total job for us.

Anyhow, its done and would recommend this to all that haven't done it. Check it out B4 and after.

I believe it's simply the color - some people like it to blend in with the rest of the suspension components (black) and others like them to stand out more (i.e. orange, red, yellow colors).
