Fun fact: the Toyota Southeast region of the United States is controlled by one man who bought the rights from Toyota when they moved into the United States. Basically every vehicle that gets sold at a Toyota dealership is bought from him. He is effectively a middleman and because dealerships have to buy vehicles from him he does A lot of slight modifications or additions to vehicles with accessories that the dealerships don't have much of a choice but to except . That would be why Toyota from the Southeast region originally is slightly different then a Toyota from any other region in the United States .
