Dual Function Corner/Turn Signal LED

Might be a silly question and this is my first time posting so bear with me. I want to swap out my front turn signal bulbs to LEDs. I've had no problem finding bulbs, but I've only found the dual function LEDs in a switchback. I would really prefer to have an amber only version but I haven't had any luck finding any. Anyone ever done this or know of any that will work?

Don't forget you'll need a resistor with those to prevent hyperflash.

Might as well do what I did and replace the rear flashers with LEDs also. I put the resistor back there too so that it's not burning hot the entire time the front is lit up, only when the turn signal is on.

Wouldn't I need a resistor on every corner and not just the rear? I think diode might make an LED flasher unit to replace instead of installing resistors.

Nope. I got these resistors from Xenon Depot installed on just the two rear corners, and I have no hyperflash even though all 4 corners are LEDs. I really didn't want the resistors on all the time since they're basically just creating a ton of heat. In the rear corners, they only come on when you use the turn signal or hazards, so no heat concerns.

If I recall correctly, the 5th gen doesn't have a flasher relay, it's integrated into the ECU or some control module somewhere and not possible to just simply switch out. Those resistors are definitely the way to go, and probably cheaper than switching out a relay would be too.
 
I used Alla lighting from amazon. Switch back 7443 bulbs. It was $26.99 plus $5.39 for pair of resistors. They have all orange bulbs for much cheaper. I installed resistors using big binder clips because I didn’t want to drill in to my inner fender. Clips hold tight and secure. Cleaned up rest of my wires with zip ties not touching any part of the resistors since they get very hot under use.

Actually the front signals have 3 wires: turn signal, running light, and ground
You should be installing the resistor across the turn signal and ground wires not across the running light. So it should only be generating heat when the turn signal circuit is powered on not when the running lights are on.
There's more room to work with as well as bigger wires to tap into for the front ones as well. I disassembled the socket and soldered the resistors onto the pins because I've never been a fan of wire taps on vehicles, especially if you off-road!

I have been extremely happy with my V6 tritons from VLED's. I got the full plug and play version and the quality of all the hardware is outstanding. Yes, they are expensive, but the output is fantastic and the install looks great.

I did rears with resistors and did not get resistors for the front and got hyper flash. so I had to put resistors up front too. Mine is 2017, not sure if that matters but it contradicts what was posted above and a few other places about only needing them in the rear.

Oops. I have a 2011 that I converted to the 2014+ headlights, I forgot the wiring is different. My turn signals are also the DRLs so there's only the two wires, and it's constantly on. My mistake!

It still might be easier to just throw the resistors on the back though, there's oodles of room back there and a lot of space to work in.
