Dula's Build Thread

Well it has been a while since i posted anything. I guess I've spent most of my time being a dad and going to school, and working... But anyways the last month or so i have spent some time working on the 4runner. I recently painted most of my trim pieces, I still need to paint the plastic piece below the bumper, tow package, and the undercarriage which Im sure will be a while. I also got into an accident since my last post, everything is fine, but I messed up the front end and had to get a new grill so my old custom satoshi is done, I just bought some new grill mesh to do it again though, I hope to get to it this week. Also I got some new tires for it. Anyways here is a picture I just took.

Worst satoshi ever!

So today I decided to try to re-do my satoshi grill. I bought some fancy grill material online from amazon. I was really excited, but my excitement turned to sheer horror when I was finished.

My other satoshi I did was much better, however the metal was MUCH easier to cut, this grill material I bought was made out of a softer metal I believe and kept breaking my dremel's cutting disks and it kept grabbing the mesh and deforming it. Since i already had cut out the internals I decided to keep going and just put it in and leave it be til I have the money and patience to do it right.

NOW FOR THE SUPER AWESOME PICS!!!

keep in mind I will not take a picture from any closer because it looks terrible. This thing is as okie rigged as you can get, hell its even held in by black zip ties!
