Hi Guys - I figured it was about time to make one of these 3 years later. WIsh I had documented more but it is what it is. I'm going to try to take pics of any future mods along the way and post them here.

picked up some new rims to go with the 35s i just scored. 4x 315/70/17 deegan 38 and a spare bfg for $800. the tires only had 200 miles on them. cant wait to get them mounted.

I'm back

Welp it's time to come out of retirement. I was daily driving a 17" GTI that was totalled by a guy texting and driving.

The 4runner is in need of a major tune up. Now that it is a bit cooler outside here in NC I can finally get some work done.

TODO:

-replacing the terrible hella turn signals in the shrockworks front bumper. They are very much non water resistant & they burn through bulbs really quickly. I ordered some 2" marker led lights from superbrightleds.com and will be experimenting with those

-swapping out the antique PIAA 510 amber fogs with some fancy new LEDs from Baja designs

-The truck has developed a terrible engine ping due to running lean with the supercharger. I have pretty much had to stay completely out of boost and drive dangerously slow. I am going with the URD 7th injector kit & will be installing this weekend.

- adding sway bars back since this will be my daily driver again. Plus the wife hated driving it without them.

Spent all weekend working on the truck.
- Cleaned up aux fuse box wiring. Moved all switch wiring for arb compressor, ACR dual battery relay switch, CB radio, aux rear 12v plug, new LED fog lights, and power inverter switch to connect to aux fuse box in engine bay which is wired to a yellow top optima. Previously had the fuse box in the foot well of the driver near the firewall. Moved it on top of stock fuse box in engine bay.
- installed the Baja designs squadron pro round fogs into the shrockworks bumper. They are way recessed into the bumper so I may end up cutting new holes. They are insanely bright. I was flashed by a few people in oncoming traffic so I'll probably stick to using them on back roads or trips up to Boone during snowboarding season. It's like having 8 surefire flashlights mounted to the front of your truck. I went with the driving combo pattern but apparently you can swap lenses/ colors out pretty easily.
- installed the urd 7th injector kit. I'm running the stock pulley and the stock map shipped from urd. The pinging is greatly reduced but I'm still not satisfied. I ordered a cheap Windows PC and I plan on tuning the 7th injector to start spraying when I enter boost at 1psi. Most of the detonation is happening under low gear/ low rpm conditions . With it being so hot + driving at 315 ft above sea level im thinking I'll need to add a little timing also. The install itself was pretty straightforward other than dropping the gas tank (huge PITA).
- still waiting on my beefier sway bars for on road driving to get here. Also, I ordered the single din 6 switch holder so now I need to get some more stuff to wire switches up to.
