So far. Put a good 100 miles on them today, if it wasnt raining like hell i would snap some pictures. Barely hear them at 60mph on the highway I am thoroughly impressed. $800 well spent

Glad to here it! I've put about 500 miles on mine and love them so far. Only down side is she doesn't like doing 80mph now, best at 70-75 b/c of weight.

i dont ever really go over 70 since i have my cdl.. plus i can just hear my mpg dying at anything over 65...

haha yeah that makes sense. Unfortunately the highway from Columbia to St. Louis is 70mph so sometimes I like to do 80mph on the hr and a half drive back. MPG's for me right now are around 14-15 average but I also have 285's so guess that's what you get when you go with 285's

all this Duratrac talk. I guess I will just have to get some just from peer pressure. lol

actually I am on the fence between those or some Hankook's.

but I am still trying to figure out if I am going to buy the FJ 17's or stay with the stockers.

dam choices. good thing taxes are done and all I am waiting for is my return

Opi, What size Duratracs are you running? I need to buy tires for my 4Runner. I have always had good luck with BFG AT T/A's but everyone seems to talk very highly of the Goodyears. Discount Tire Direct has them cheap too, $662/set after rebate.

Exactly what I'm looking to get this summer/fall. Did you go with the C-load sidewalls, or the E? Any rubbing? Post pics!

what he said. i did go c. i dont see a need for much more honestly, they were super easy to mount too (my buddy has a tire machine) one time tonight it sounded like they rubbed but i wasnt full lock and it was a small driveway bump i think it was something else or im hearing things, full lock so far seems ok

265/75/16 with the c load sidewall

Tire Details - Discount Tire Direct

Have to have their credit card though, $712 without it.
hmmm, i may have to call them on this, i worked 785 shipped with the warranty (which is on the honor system i was told no need to send old one in, and the warranty card says good for 4) soooooo :witch:

i love mine, they are great for on road and off road applications. i like to go off roading every other weekend if i can and they perform great, they also perform great on road, the road noise is not very noticeable. just did a 700mi road trip and had no issues and im running 285/75R16's

I got mine about 17 months ago and put about 12,000 miles on mine and am very happy with them on and off road.

I picked up a set in 265/75/16 a couple of weeks ago to replace my pizzacutter 245/70/16s. I've put about 500 miles on them through a Seattle "snowstorm", rainstorm, and the one obligatory sunny day. Didn't take very many weights to balance either, which surprised me. These tires are absolutely spectacular! I've pushed them to 80 mph+ on the freeway with no problems -- the truck tracked perfectly straight. Road noise is a tad higher than my Dunlops, but not unbearable and I kind of like having a hum now. I've turned lock to lock with no rubbing (I don't have a lift). It does feel a little heavier having come from a smaller tire and my mileage decreased just a tad, but I'll take it for the sure-footedness I feel everytime I get behind the wheel. Thanks to this forum for all the good info in helping me make an informed and worthwhile purchase!

mine were 5.0 on both sides, took a bunch of weights haha. could be my rims, though i forgot about the break the bead again and spin like halfway trick to make it balance a little better or try to.

just pulled the trigger on a set of 265/75/16 Duratracs. $804 mounted and balanced, then offered 4 wheels alignment for 1/2 price. Not too bad, right?

Everyone is getting good deals it seems. I paid like $1100 or so for 35's with warranty. I love them. Awesome tire.
