Durobumps longevity

I’m going to be changing out the OEM bump stops fairly soon and the durobumps are on my radar. Probably not where I would prefer to spend ~$220 right now, but from what I gather it’s a good investment and the pros seem to outweigh the cost.

For those of you with durobumps, 1) How are they holding up so far. 2) How long have you had them and 3) What have you put them through? Any issues/regrets?

I've had mine on the truck for ~35k miles and 19 months; no issues, no complaints, they do their job. I haven't jumped the truck (intentionally) or done any high speed pre-running, but it's gotten thousands of miles of non-pavement, plenty of flexing and trails. I've never once had the thought of "ouch, that was hitting the bump stop feels like".

Dedicated off road vehicle, 1.5 yrs of use and probably at least 5,000 mi of rocky offroad trails on them. No problems at all. I was also blowing through travel with my old shocks and would ride the bump stops quite frequently.

I'm staying away from Durobumps - I tried reaching out to the owner twice and didn't get a reply.

Had no issues with mine either. If you plan on jumping or riding the bumps alot, may be worthwhile to get airbumps

So the 8.9104G fit the 5th gen? Also the description on energy suspensions site says rear, but looks like the front, is that mislabeled?

Correct - it's basically a hack. You can use these for the fronts on 5th gens and it'll only cost $40 vs $200 lol

The rears can be had over about $100. I think timbren's are more common for the rears but that's about $250. The old school method was to use a Toytec spacer but it was very clunky.

Awesome, just ordered the energy suspension bump stops for up front. Should make getting the rears not hurt as much. [emoji1360]

Correct, larger than stock.
