dust boot question

Are dust boots a good thing on a shock ? I see that the rear bilsteins come witha dust boot on but the front ones don't do you guys recommend a dust boot for front shock ?

I'm no expert... but I would think that having them is better than not.... at the very least... it doesn't hurt to have them... I hope someone with actual knowledge on the subject will add some comment to the matter for you... :)
 
Most PNW wheelers end up removing them. They get packed with mud and do more harm than good. If you aren't wheeling it then I'd leave them on.
