I have a 18 TRD Pro and I recently added the Beat Sonic front/rear camera interface and added a camera on the front grill.
I was wondering if anyone has used a mobile DVR to record these cameras instead of using the windshield/dash mount type stand-alone dashcams?
I have found several 2CH-4CHunits. Some with basic options of just video recording on power up and time/date stamps to those that have g-sensors. GPS, SD/HDD, etc...
I assume the rear camera is ON all the time if the truck is ON. I have wired my front camera in the same manner. I would only want to record while the truck is ON and driving.
