E-brake

Mine is disconnected, the cable is zip tied over on itself on the drivers side of the rear axle. I dont know where, or how it goes or works but I imagine its a pretty simple mechanism. I would really like having the parking/e-brake....... fla is mostly flat but my driveway has a nice lil tilt to it. Luckily the garage is on flat ground :-D. Either way, who know what about something with this mechanism.

The U shaped piece in the first pic connects to the top of the backwards L shaped piece in the second pic. Line up the 3 holes and slip a bolt thru. Put a locknut on it, not a regular nut, as you don't tighten it down all the way, it needs to pivot.

Could be some part of the system is inoperative. The L part can sieze up, the cable to the front could be broken, etc. When you hook both sides up see what happens.
