Removed my Granny Steps. (GF wasn't happy). Free body lift, .

Performed the Hydrocarbon Filter (HCF) delete. Noticed a very improved throttle response and harder mid range pull for less throttle input. Would highly recommend!:whoo:

Put a jumper on my fog light relay so I could turn them on without the headlights. Not sure what the exact purpose was, but its cool.

Suspension Improvements 3-13

Bought FJC TT Springs and Shocks/Struts with 13k on em. Installed rears one evening. After reading some forum installs, my buddy and I (both ex-mechanics), performed the rear spring/shock install in a record time of 1hr 15 min. Hahah, we felt like it was quick.

Notice: Disconnected sway bar end links. Removed shocks. Jack under differential. Raised diff./axle with floor jack. Opposite side blocked under end of axle (janky blocks /bricks for that matter) Lowered floor jack. Remove old spring and insert new one. Reversed for opposite side. Done.

Installed fnt Toytec spacers and FJC TT springs.

So I received my spacers and installed them on top of the FJC TT springs/struts. Pix below.

Used Spring compressors to get top cap off.

IMG_0955.jpg

Indexed rubber damper, top cap and strut body with electrical tape, so reassembly would be same as before.

IMG_0957.jpg

Hammered out old mounting studs, and used hand press to replace with longer studs.

Not many pics from assembly. Just wanted to show this one cause it might be helpful for others. If you don't have a long bar to pull down on the lower control arm, use the old strut. Worked great. Place under lct and above the lower ball joint and push down. I used jack to support brake rotor and hub, up and out of the way. :yo:

Tryin out the new setup. Shasta Chappie OHV

Didnt get to push the rig as far as I would have liked, but was fun anyway!
Silver T4R is mine, blue one is buddy's newly purchased 05 V6 Sport 4x4.
There were much more difficult areas than pictured, but no one wanted to get out and take photos :lookout: too much fun driving!

well the E30 M3 is still my dream car, I touch my self sometimes thinking about it, so definitely want to see that. I like the e36 as well, so lets just see them all :)

Wheelin' Mendocino National Forest

Some new mods since the last posts. I took off the roof racks which I have never liked and rarely used. This improved mpg slightly, decreased wind noise, and looks better IMO. I also added a slightly larger, more aggressive tire, 265 75 16.
