easiest upgrade to incl xm & aux in?

I have an 03 limited with the 6cd/10 speaker jbl.

Is there a factory HU that would integrate the xm (or sirius)? and also offer an aux in? Or do all HU's simply require the toyota oem XM adapter? in order to "integrate" sat radio. What model years of Hu's allow sat control?

Right now I use the dension and really love it because the ipod integrates so well. I want to continue using it if possible, while making my sat radio factory integrated. Would any of the scion units allow this?

Ultimate wishlist:
-direct plug and play / great sound
-ipod can be controlled via steering wheel / comes up on HU display
-has aux in
-has integrated XM/Sirius so that I don't have an extra unit hanging on my dashboard.

What was the first year that Toyota offered a HU compatible with a sat radio? I want to get the sat controls built-in. Looking for the JBL premium version.

Then I will check to see if it's plug and play back to 03.

I am interested in this same information. I have a '03 Limited with the 10 speaker JBL system and a 17006 HU. I also have a OEM 6 Disc changer in the center console that came with the T4R. I want to control my Ipod from the screen or the steering wheel.

If you just want ipod control there are options. I use the Dension "dice link". The unit plugs in to the back of the HU and provides ipod and also an aux input. You will have steering wheel and hu control to change tracks, playlists, etc.

I want to maintain this while also integrating satellite.

I use the Eclipse AVN6620, it does everything you want. Albeit some of those items are optional add-ons (not in the head unit itself).

I'm leaning toward the 04+ Sirius+Ipod unit from the same seller. Seems like a clean and factory-looking option.

The charts list applicable to '05-08 4Runners - with and without JBL. It doesn't cover the '03 or '04 years. Think I read the '03 JBL system used a different amplifier than the '05 up years - is that true? If so is '04 in same boat?

Yes I'd like to keep it OEM.
