well the damn snow kinda messed up the paint on my emblems, probably gonna have to pull them off and re-do them when the weather gets nicer.

It was nice. Def surprised me. I thought we'd get a light dusting at most. On those rare occasions it does snow in AL, it seems only North AL gets it. Guess us lower AL folks got lucky this go round.

No lie, I have lived in CO my whole life and in 23 years I have had 1 snow day and no ones vehicles could leave their driveways. No shit, if you can get your car out, you can go to school. Im talkin like, there has to be at least 2 feet for CO to close the elementry schools.

The pictures are deceiving. We got 8.5" inches. My school was closed because it is mainly a commuter school, and the snow removal process is shitty in our area, since we aren't used to getting much snow.

dude come on. i have lived in Vermont my whole life and there isn't a winter where we don't have at least 2 snow days. it isn't so much the fact that you can't get out of your driveway, it that the roads are unsafe for people and buses to drive on.

actually im not kidding. There was one snow day when I was in 4th grade and that was it. In college we had a couple snow days cause I guess they dont care as much but seriously, one snow day. There were a couple other snows that would have been snow days but they both landed on spring break :wtf: go figure. But also remember I live on the front range not in the mountains so it doesnt snow as much here as it does up in the high country and also keep in mind that because we get so much snow, the snow plows are out on the streets before the snow even falls lol. So even if its does snow 4', the streets are already plowed.

i should've specified, i live in shreveport, and its been that long since it snowed. if it snowed 1" we would get out of school, no joke at all. we got out of school for a really bad rain storm once, there was like 4 inches on the streets, so me and my friends went skim boarding on the football field. we also got a snow day for like a half inch of ice on like two main roads. we also got 4 days out for hurricane ike because they had to use all of our schoolbuses for the evaccuies (spelling?).

Umm...you suck, you suck, you suck lol. You know everyone here complains that the state doesnt spend enough money on the snow plowing business? but yet its only been a problem like two times. I think the should cut the money they spend on snow plowing so we can have some more snow days :cannon: (that was the best smily i saw to make my point)

this is why i would never live in your state. and half the people are f'n crazy.

BUT i'm pretty sure we have the better food than any place on EARTH, if you would like to disagree just know your wrong, and i'm pretty sure we dont have a snow plow in this state haha!

the only time i ever been there was to baton rouge so i really didn't see much of the state.

You have to admit though...Louisiana roads are quite terrible. Ive been through Shreveport twice and noticed the huge casinos and that one really cool painting on the side of that one building, the one that's about 10 stories tall! But man, the roads are falling apart! Damn Huey Long! haha

oh no doubt, our roads are terrible, especially in the runner. on a road trip if i fall asleep i always wake up when we cross the line into louisiana. but yeah that building mural is bad ass. but you should let me know next time your coming through shreveport, we can hit up some trails.

sloan-you went to one of the best places, baton rouge is awesome, but you kinda gotta venture away from everything to see the good stuff.
