I found this rad oldschool 2000 4Runner brochure brand new on ebay and couldn't pass it up. Who knows how many of these are still around

I thought torn seats on limiteds was a factory feature :mindblown:

I think that pretty well brings things up to speed... Truck is now up to almost 205k and has been great. That said, I've had a few things come up recently that need to be addressed. I also need to get better at taking photos as I do jobs to document them lol. List below is for my own reference

-fix both rear axle seals that have begun to leak causing abs light to be on
-replace SPC front UCA's as bushings are already bad within 15k miles (super disappointed in these things)
-replace bad fan pulley bracket with noisy bearing
-reupholster drivers seat (started tearing)
-would like to switch an alpine HU as the sony has buggy bluetooth
-sliders painted to match cladding
-verify that transfer case isn't leaking
-fix leak from stripped tranny drain plug

I discovered, the hard way, that a simple cause for leaking rear seals you might consider checking out, is a clogged rear diff breather. I'm not saying that IS your situation, but it's something easy to check out. Just unscrew the breather off the rear axle, and blow through it. If it's clogged up, the pressure build-up in the rear diff can cause the seals to leak.

Just thought you might want to check it out, before you go through the expense and effort of replacing the rear seals, brake shoes, and so forth.

Thanks Pat, I check the rear breather about 10k ago and it wasn't plugged last time I checked but it definitely wouldn't hurt to very that it still is functioning as it should. I appreciate the point and plan on checking it when I do some further diagnosis hopefully this weekend
