Ebay Fender Flares

Has anybody ever tried these? I am curious how they fit. I realize they are not as good as the SR5 plastic, Limited, or Bushwacker flares, but I am thinking they might be better than my SR5 chrome strips after being painted. Way too much chrome as they are now.

Those look like the chrome fender trim you would see on a cholo'd out Nissan Sentra from 1992, you know the ones with the tiny chrome mudflaps that match. Sorry dont mean to talk smack, but I dont think they re much of a flare either.

I had purchased a T100 that had those on when I got it. I didn't really like the look but when I went to take them off, the rubber lining on both passenger side fender flares were fused to the paint and would not come off without peeling the paint. Just thought I'd mention that.

oh, i completely agree. i just thought they might look ok when painted black. not gonna be the guinea pig on this though. id rather just save that money and eventually get bushwackers or something. i was hoping somebody else had tried them out though.

i actually saw this on a 4Runner on my way home from work today. they were ugly. ignore my inquiry.
