Grow up dude. So what if there maybe are frequent threads about this? If it pisses you off that bad move along and if your going to waste your time commenting on a thread, keep it constructive. Nobody likes a smart-ass commenting on their stuff when they are in need of help or answers.

There are threads started daily about lift questions that have been answered numerous times. Doing a search would have pulled up
this; the very first link will most likely answer all the questions that are posted everyday. You can also search for information on buying used 3rd Gen's like the first link
here. These threads are put in place by very knowledgeable owners for questions like what this thread is about. Anybody can simply add a post to any of these on-going threads and get the same answers. The only difference is that we're not creating multiple threads about the same topics. I'm not trying to be a dick, but multiple moderators have also stated the same thing I'm posting. All forums have limits on content, and are restricted on the amount of space they have. Starting a new thread about something that has already been talked about takes up more space than adding to an existing thread. I understand that people have questions about purchasing a new 4runner. But, there are ways that we can work with what we already have going on this site. Take this how you choose, reply back if you want; but my opinion is not going to change.
Another thing about search, and I do it this way. Use Google, it's so much easier to find what your looking for. Between the links that come up for this site, and searching through pictures. I've been able to find 4/5 things I search for. On Google you should type in 3rd Gen 4runner followed by what you're searching for. Should look something like

I've benefited so much from this site, and have learned a lot. I'm always willing to lend a helping hand, and help people out with issues I've come across. I left the Pirate 4x4 for some of the exact sames reasons that we're starting to see on here. So many people jump on a forum and post where they please, not knowing that there are sections/on-going threads already in place. There is a thing called forum etiquette, and it all starts with reading through the forum rules. I'd like to stress the point that I'm not trying to be a dick, just trying to help keep the clutter down.
. You can start contributing by not cluttering up the forum with the same threads that get posted at least once a week and have already been answered ad nauseum. That way we don't feel like we're wasting our time when we do answer questions, and guys who are taking the time to search don't have to wade through piles of crap to find the thread they're looking for.
