ebrake, VSC Trac, VSC OFF, and ABS lights on.

I went mudding this weekend, and after a couple puddles, my ebrake, VSC Trac, VSC OFF, and ABS lights all came on, and I can tell there is nothing wrong with it.

I figured I might have dirtied the sensors, so I washed off my car, and my engine, still coming on. Then I tried unplugging the battery for 10 minutes. It turned off! ... for about 10 seconds. Now, if I don't drive it for a while, the lights will stay off for a minute and turn on again.

I have been searching the last couple days and all I could find was go to AutoZone and have them scan. I did, and they weren't able to pull anything up.

Before I take it to the stealership to see what they have to say, any ideas?

Try cleaning your ABS sensors. Probably all gunked up.

Check your brake fluid level. It might be low.

On my 02, there is a plug that goes into the front of the brake master cylinder that when unplugged will cause the same lights to come on. Check that plug to see if it's full of mud or wiggled loose.

These vehicles are not meant for the mud and now you're paying the price.. There are just too many electrical parts that get destroyed when doing so. I've seen so many 3rd gens owners on this site make posts about their rigs having problems after playing in the mud. You want to play in the mud get a pickup with no electrical doo-dads to get ruined. I've had my share and I've paid for it as well. A lot of people learn the hard way. Hope you get it all figured out.
