Unable to perform zero point calibration

With the ignition on I short E1 and Ts terminals four times.
Manual says - " Check that the VSC TRAC warning light is lit indicating the recorded zero point is erased. Turn the ignition off."
My car: ABS starts blinking. VSC TRAC is on for a couple of seconds and then it starts blinking too with the abs. No pauses, to think that its some kind of fault code. Just fast (0.13 sec) and constan blinking of both lights, until I turn the ignition off.

Any suggestions ?
p.s. couldn't find anything in service manual related to this issue

Try this. I just did it and it worked for me!!

I'm pretty sure if he or anyone else is asking advice on jumping terminals they're not really wanting to buy a $150 bit of kit to do the same thing. Like someone asking how to repack an OEM CV and another replying to just buy a set of $2,500 RCV's. And as stated, the link you provided is for a 4th gen. Has anyone even confirmed the procedure is backwards compatible?
