Well not having sirius was really getting on my nerves as I have been a subscriber since 05'. I really didn't like any of the stock alternatives of getting sirius into my T4R so I went the afternarket route instead. I was in so much of a zone on installation 3 weeks ago I forgot to take pics of the install in progress, but here is the final results!

Radio:Eclipse 5100

I had a bit of trouble finding a sirius antenna with extra length local so I could do the install, but with my moms sporster unit I tried out at a local stereo shop a xm unit they had to see if the antenna's where as universal as they appeared, learned they are indeed interchangeable. Anyways, here are the antenna pics.

First pic shows placement

This pic shows its location on the door, there is about 3/8" gap when door is opened.

Shows how I ran the antenna wire into the grommet that goes to the underneath of the headliner. Where I put the wire under that grommet I added some clear silicon to prevent any leaks into the cabin area.

Shows the route I chose to tuck and hide the antenna wire.

Nice Job!

Can you tell me where you got your mounting kit for your reciever? It looks really good! Can you control that reciever with your steering wheel controls?

I got the dash kit from Best Kits as well as the wiring harness.

I also was able to retain steering wheel controls by using a IR module from eclipse. Has a slight delay to it from the stock controls but it works well and I am very happy with it.
