Absolutely.

Thanks, do you think the AVN6600 is a good upgrade over the 5435? I have been wanting to run the DVD for the back seats and NAV at the same time. This will not work on the 5435, will it on the 6600 since it has two DVD's; or will you get the default on the video/audio output whatever you have on the units screen?

Yes, you can run video to a back seat monitor while having nav displayed on the head unit with the 6600. In my opinion, the 6600 is so much better than the 5435. The 6600 also have full ipod support and TV tuner support which the 5435 does not. Plus you can plug your steering wheel controls directly into the unit.

Thanks for the feedback on the 6600 that is good news.

The 5435 also does the steering wheel control through direct plug in and the Ipod eclipse module is supported but has some problems which I just got used to. I just can't see a need for the tv tuner. Now I just have to decide if 2K is worth the upgrade for the DVD. I guess I can deduct the resale value of the 5435 from that maybe 1K, hmmmm.

I haven't seen any problems installing this yet, but I have a couple questions to make sure I understand this correctly before purchasing one for my 07 4R LE. Hopefully this can be answered here or I will start a new thread.

1) If I order the JBL synthesis 6-CD HU, the 6600 will replace it without any modifications to the dash correct? Just by using the Schotche brackets kit, there is no other modification to the dash trim needed?

2) For IPOD integration, is there another module or box needed, or do you simply hook up the ipod cable to the back of the HU ?

3) The JBL Synthesis system is digital input. Is the 6600 digital output? Any compatibility problems?

4) Any additional wiring need to be done, or does everything plug and play?? If additional wiring needs to be hooked up, which ones?

Thanks!
