Eclipse AVN6610 HELP~!

yes that is the factory vss from the oem harness. i already tapped one from the ecm (behind the glove compartment box)
if i do not cut it i will get check engine light.

so what do you think about that bte-600 of being defective?

if the unit is working fine with the bluetooth module removed, and is not working as it is supposed to when it is, then, yes it is likley that the unit is bad.

I forget, and cant find any info online, and im on vacation and not at work to look at one of the units, how is that bluetooth module installed?

the bte-600 is a simple plug and play. basically connect the oem harness 20p connector into the bluetooth then bluetooth to avn unit. if i am not mistaken the bte-600 is identical to the Parrot 3000 Evolution. http://www.parrot.com/usa/products/ck3000evolution

i cant imagine how in the hell that would affect it then..see if the place you bought it from could send you a diff one

There is an interconnection between the bluetooth unit and the AVN that allows it to cut the volume when using the phone. It sounds like this is not working correctly. I'm pretty sure its the pink wire.

did anyone ever find a fix for this problem? I'm having the same issue with my AVN5510. The "vol" text blinks all the time & and makes the screen unresponsive.
