Too true. I see this rack becoming more than it is with user input IF the manufacturer is wanting to listen. Either way, I have mine and will modify it as I see fit. This is the great thing about these products, making it your own.
I've had a lot of comments so far on the looks and I love that I can add things to my roof now how I want them!:biggrin2:
Now that a decent number of you have installed the rack, can you confirm that it is approximately the same height as the stock roof rack? Or only a little higher? I love the look of this rack (and the price) and need something not much taller than the stock rails.
Thanks!
I can do this as my neighbor has a stock rack on. I believe it's a LITTLE taller but not much if any.

Awesome, thank you. If you get a chance to take actual measurements, please let me know.
My awesome neighbor let me take some measurements.
Stock height rack at tallest point is 2.5".
My rack was 4". Mine could be adjusted down a little lower but I gotta work on it, maybe 1/2" more. Hope that helps.
Vinsil did you ever consider getting the ladder to go with it?
I have the ladder. Came with no instructions. So I thought how hard could it be it’s two brackets and the ladder. Mount the brackets the add ladder right. So I ended up backing one of the screws out too far and the weight of the rear hatch is on the these screws and bent the bracket. I couldn’t get it back in without help and scratched the shit out of the roof plus the rear hatch doesn’t seal all the way and now leaks a tiny bit.Contacted echo for instructions and they sent a pdf Spanish. So for now I’m gonna hold off and just leave my truck alone and not **** it up lol.
